Default Finished Prophecies & EOTN, Factions or Nightfall next? + Mission Bonus questions...

I finished Hell's Precipice last night on my Prophecies character and had already completed EOTN. I already have a quite a few heroes, because I did some quests in Nightfall (up to 'And a Hero Shall Lead Them' to get them. So I'm basically wondering which I should try to tackle first. I wanted to get the hard part (Prophecies) out of the way (and I did).

I still have 4/5 bonus missions in Prophecies to do, but considering leaving them for now and coming back if necessary. The ones I have are:

Dunes of Despair: Somehow defeat 3 generals while protecting the ghost.
Dragon's Lair: Kill Glint
Abbadon's Mouth: Escort that crazy lady Leah that runs ahead of everyone and gets killed.
Hell's Precipice : Protect that Seer then kill the Lords.

I think I understand how to do Dunes of Despair which is to just stay with the Hero until the boss comes from the West game, then quickly kill him and run south to destroy the generals.

Glints should be no problem.

Abbadon's Mouth... I think I'm going to completely clear the way for her before talking to her because she is just ridiculous.

Hell's Precipice... I'm not sure. I tried to get the bonus 5-6 times before eventually just saying screw it and completing the mission. Every time the seer died. If I tried to run to protect him, my heroes died... There are like 3 Sparks that are just North of him that are the issue...

Any advice on Dunes of Despair, Abbadon's Mouth, or Hell's Precipice bonuses?

Well, you're right about Abbadon's Mouth - clearing the path is the usual way of doing it. When you do that, make sure you get the pop-ups (worms) around the endpoint of where she runs.
I don't recall the others enough atm.

In theory the Seer shouldn't get aggroed until you get in his range, so try to only get near when you're ready to fight the attackers (eg. there are no groups in between). If the group on your way is so near to the seer that you'd get in his compass range, try and pull them far from the seer (but still not so much that you'll get on some group behind ofc).
But I admit it's a bit of a lottery, getting a decent spawn and get to him in time, not much specific can be done, even if 5-6 times seems a bit too many tries...
Rushing to him when you're in the deep of aggro could not be wise, as you noticed you'll mostly wipe that way.

Also, I don't know if you're also having problems with the huge group just right before turning the sideway to him, which could be an added trouble factor...just wait for them to move all to one side and pass quickly without aggroing them at all. If you already knew/did this then nevermind.

Abbadon's mouth- what you understood yourself and Quaker said. It's awefully long and boring that way but totally safe.

Dunes of Despair - meh I still hate that bonus...til short time ago I used to do it with the Necrotic Traversal trick (don't start the siege, kill someone on the other side and get there with that skill. Though with this method you must try until you get the right spawn to get a usable corpse and it's a bit lame. Other way what you said (kill bosses in the last minutes after the siege ends) or kill them in the pauses, but with both methods you must be very quick. If you can you can kill the first one before beginning the siege, with ranged attacks (again, depends on which boss spawns, he could spawn too far or be the melee one which tends to run away). You could also solo the bosses with a spirit spammer build while the rest of the group does the siege, but I guess it's quite hard.

The last time I did Dunes of Despair, I think I left one or two heroes back with the ghostly while I ran off with everyone else. That should work even better with full hero parties. I probably left an sos resto back or something, I don't quite remember. I just ignored the wurms, I think. Or maybe killed one with pain inverter as I was running off to the bosses? I don't remember all the details, sorry.

Ah, I finished them all last night. Hell's Precipice was still a bitch... 5 times before I got a good spawn. Now to work on Factions/Nightfall...
